THE PROPERTY
Our home
Casa Caçador is not only exceptionally unique, but also has every modern luxury necessary to feel more than comfortable. The main house has 3 bedrooms comprising of 2 twins and 1 superking plus 2 shower rooms. The annex (attached to main house with the garage / ping pong room separating them) has 1 twin bedroom + sofa bed in the living room, 1 shower room and a private terrace. Each room in the main house opens out onto the garden via French windows. There is a full equipped kitchen, laundry room, guest toilet, abundant amenities and wonderful details in every corner, you won’t want to miss out. The pool (unheated) is saline and long enough to do some proper lengths! We build a new wooden deck in 2023, perfect for sunbathing and sundowners and a new astroturf surrounded by wooden fencing in 2025 which is good for kids football, cricket, pickleball & workouts.
MODERN APPLIANCES
Two washing machines (one with dryer), 3 Fridges, Nespresso Coffee Machine and a blender make up some of the top of the range Appliances you and your family will need. The annex has its own self contained kitchen with fridge / freezer, Nespresso machine and use of the washing machine in the garage.
BEDROOMS
3 Bedrooms in main house. One bedroom plus sofa bed in Annex the house sleeps 9 comfortably. With custom made pocket sprung beds and imported luxury linen your comfort is guaranteed. 2 Bathrooms in main house and 1 bathroom in annex. The annex is separated from the main 3 bedroom house by the garage (ping pong room!) but they all share the same roof.
LOCAL AREA & BEACHES
Caçador is situated minutes from the beautiful Atlantic Coast and is next to part of the Rota Vicentina, a 220km "Fishermen's Trail" that has been opened up to walkers
described by Condé Nast Traveler magazine as one of the 6 most beautiful coastal trails in the world.
Always by the sea, the hiking trail follows the paths used by the locals to access the beaches and fishing grounds.
We are also near a number of wonderful surf beaches such as Carvalhal, Odexeixe and Malhão as well as many hidden beaches where you will rarely find more than a handful of others.
We are surrounded by raspberry farms and the fresh fish and clams from The Atlantic are cooked in simple and delicious ways by local restaurants which we are delighted to share with you.
